Terms of use

1. Using Pixelize

By installing or using Pixelize you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Pixelize on your Android devices for your own use. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, or remove its protections, except where the law allows it. Open-source components keep their own licences, listed in the app under Settings → Open source licences.

3. Your content

You own your photos, PDFs and the files you create. Pixelize processes them on your phone and does not upload them to us. You are responsible for having the right to edit, convert and share the files you use. Always keep a copy of important files. Pixelize saves results as new files and does not change your originals, but we cannot guarantee that a file will never be lost or damaged.

4. Pro and payments

Pixelize Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. Price, taxes and payment methods are shown by Google Play before you buy. Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy. If Google refunds or reverses a purchase, Pro is switched off automatically. You can restore Pro on another device signed in to the same Google account from Settings → Pro & privacy → Restore purchases. We may change which tools are free or Pro in the future. A purchase you have already made keeps the Pro tools that were in Pro when you bought it.

5. Ads

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. A rewarded ad can unlock a Pro tool for a limited time. You must not click ads artificially or try to hide, block or interfere with ads in a way that breaks the ad providers’ rules.

6. AI and tool results

The AI background remover and other tools give automatic results that can be imperfect. Check results before you use or share them. We do not promise that a result is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose. The AI model is downloaded once and needs free storage space and enough memory on your phone.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Pixelize to break the law, to infringe other people’s rights, to create or spread unlawful or harmful content, or to attack, disrupt or overload our services (including the model download server).

8. No warranty

Pixelize is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted or work on every device.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data or files, arising from your use of Pixelize. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pixelize Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

10. Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. If we change the terms, we will update the date above. Continuing to use Pixelize after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Pixelize at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop providing the app or the AI model download at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
