Pixelize is free to download and most tools are free to use. The free version shows ads. Pixelize never adds a watermark to your photos. The Watermark tool only adds the text you type.

A few tools are Pro (AI background remover, Watermark, Glitch art, Bulk convert, Bulk compress). You can unlock all of them with one purchase, or tap a Pro tool and watch a short ad to use it free for 1 hour.

No. Photos and PDFs are processed on your phone. Pixelize has no accounts and no cloud storage, so there is nothing to upload to. Read the full details in the privacy policy.

The tools work offline. Internet is only used for ads in the free version, for buying Pro through Google Play, and for the one-time download of the AI background remover model (about 90 MB).

Pixelize needs Android 8.0 or newer. iPhone HEIC photos can be opened on Android 9 and newer. The AI background remover is built for phones with 4 GB RAM or more.

Yes, on Android 9 and newer. Pixelize can read HEIC and other formats your phone can decode and convert them to JPG, PNG or WEBP. On Android 8 the system cannot decode HEIC, so Pixelize shows a clear message instead.

It is about 90 MB and downloads once, the first time you use AI mode. It stays on your phone so AI cut-outs work offline. To free the space, open Settings → AI cut-out model and tap to remove it. You can download it again any time. Quick mode keeps working without it.

In Pictures/Pixelize (images) and Documents/Pixelize (PDFs and text). You can change the folder name in Settings. Your original photos are never changed. Results are always saved as new files. The Output files screen lists everything you saved.

Bulk jobs can take a while. Android requires a visible progress notification so the job keeps running if you leave the app or lock the screen. It disappears when the job ends, and it has a Cancel button.

Open Settings → Pro & privacy → Restore purchases while signed in to the same Google account you used to buy it. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Purchases are handled by Google Play, so Google’s refund rules apply. If a purchase is refunded, Pro is switched off automatically.

In some regions the law requires us to ask before showing personalised ads. Pixelize uses Google’s consent form for this. You can review your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy settings. Pro removes ads.
