Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

In short: Pixelize processes your photos and PDFs on your phone. We do not have accounts and we do not upload, see or store your files. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Purchases are handled by Google Play. This page explains the details.

1. Who we are

Pixelize (package name com.programphd.pixelize) is an Android app published by FireClashPro (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Pixelize app and this website. Contact: support@fireclashpro.com.

2. What stays on your phone

  • Your photos and PDFs. Converting, compressing, cropping, filters, watermarks, PDF tools, bulk jobs and the AI background remover all run on your device. Your files are not uploaded to us or to any server run by us.
  • Photo details (EXIF). The Image info tool reads details such as size and GPS location from a photo on your phone to show them to you. This information is not sent anywhere.
  • Your settings (theme, default format, folder name) and your Pro status are stored in the app on your phone.
  • The files you save are written to Pictures/Pixelize and Documents/Pixelize on your phone.

Pixelize has no user accounts and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of our own. The AI engine (ONNX Runtime) ships with a telemetry component. We have removed it from the app.

3. Services we use

Google AdMob (ads in the free version)

The free version shows banner, interstitial, rewarded and app-open ads from Google AdMob. To show ads, Google and its partners may collect and use data from your device, such as your advertising ID, IP address, device and app information and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required, Pixelize shows Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform) before personalised ads. You can review your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in your Android settings. Learn more in Google’s advertising policy and Google’s privacy policy. Pro removes ads.

Google Play Billing (Pro purchase)

If you buy Pro, Google Play processes the payment. We never see your card or payment details. Google tells the app whether Pro is active, and the app keeps that status on your phone. Google’s privacy policy applies to the purchase.

AI model download (our server)

The first time you use the AI background remover, the app downloads a model file (about 90 MB) from our server at pixelize.fireclashpro.com. Like any web server, our hosting provider records technical request data such as your IP address, the time and the file requested in standard server logs, for security and to run the service. The app does not send your photos, an account, or an advertising ID with this request. The request is not linked to anything you edit.

Google Play and Android

If you have turned on usage and diagnostics sharing on your device, Google may collect crash and performance data for apps and make anonymous reports available to developers in the Play Console. We use this only to fix bugs.

4. Permissions and why we ask

PermissionWhy
Photos and media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, selected photos on Android 14+, or storage on older Android)To show your photos in the in-app gallery so you can choose which to edit. You can decline and use the system photo picker (Files) instead.

Foreground service (data sync)To keep a bulk convert or compress job running if you leave the app. Android shows a progress notification while it runs.

Advertising IDUsed by Google AdMob for advertising, subject to your consent choices. Not used by us for anything else.
BillingTo let you buy Pro through Google Play.

5. How information is used

We use the little information that reaches us only to: run the app and its downloads; show ads and measure them through Google; unlock Pro after a purchase; keep the service secure; and fix bugs. We do not build profiles of you and we do not make automated decisions about you.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the providers described above (Google for ads, billing and diagnostics, and our hosting provider for serving the model file) as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

7. Storage, retention and deletion

  • Your photos, PDFs, settings and Pro status stay on your phone. We hold no copy.
  • Server logs for the model download are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider.
  • To delete app data, uninstall Pixelize or clear its storage in Android settings. To remove the AI model only: Settings → AI cut-out model.
  • Files you saved in Pictures/Pixelize and Documents/Pixelize are yours. Delete them from Output files or your file manager.

8. Children

Pixelize is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will help.

9. Your choices and rights

Because we do not hold your photos or an account for you, there is usually no personal data for us to access, correct or delete. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or India’s data protection law) you may have rights about data processed by Google or by our hosting provider. Contact us at support@fireclashpro.com and we will help or point you to the right provider. You can change ad consent in Settings → Ad privacy settings.

10. Security

Processing on your device means your files do not travel over the internet. The model file is downloaded over HTTPS and checked with a SHA-256 hash before use. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we design Pixelize to collect as little as possible.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will also mention them in the app update notes.
